This is the easiest way to install PicApport. All settings are made automatically.<\/p><p>Of course you can install PicApport under Windows as a Java program or even as Windows-Service. For large photo collections we recommend a 64-Bit JRE.<\/p><p>You can download a JRE here:\u00a0<a class=\"external-link\" href=\"http:\/\/www.oracle.com\/technetwork\/java\/javase\/downloads\/index.html\" rel=\"nofollow\">http:\/\/www.oracle.com\/technetwork\/java\/javase\/downloads\/index.html<\/a><\/p><p><em><strong>PicApport.exe<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0first checks if the directory where\u00a0<strong><em>PicApport.exe<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0is installed has a subdirectory with the name\u00a0<em><strong>jre8<\/strong><\/em>. If this directory exists<br \/>Java will be loaded from there (just delete or rename\u00a0<em><strong>jre8<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0it if you don&#8217;t want it).
